With childhood through adult obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes, H.I.V. and various other health issues: Education and awareness is the key to helping the community combat these issues. Research has proven that self-esteem, confidence and academics in children will rise when they are enriched with health and fitness.?

We will be filling bags with health/nutrition literature and other health items during the health fair.

Managing and discussing health topics with veterans, civilians, community members at various health an safety booths.

We will need volunteers to help set up tables and chairs for the health booths in the parking lot of CVS before the service project begins at 7:00 a.m. as well as volunteers for cleanup after the service project is complete.

We will need volunteers to stand and pass out informational materials at some vender tables.

There will be a Belks gift card raffle, as well a weight watchers basket raffle and would need volunteers to help orchestrate this.

Materials still needed:?Vitamin Water, Small American flags, personal hand sanitizers, nutrition information, folding tables and chairs, childrens bouncy house, small plastic bags, ink pens, notepads, small candies, plastic flowers for table decorations and containers to place them, as well as overhead tents.
